Desert Dreaming

I took a partial day off from self-employment today while last night’s snow melted – again!  Let me be clear to my northern friends, I’m not complaining.  I’m just stating a fact.  I realize today’s inch of snow, which puts us at about 8 or 9 inches for the season, is no where near what you guys have been going through.  However, I live in the south and this is not supposed to be happening.

 

Anyway, after waking up this morning and assessing the situation I choose to go back to bed.  I lay there and thought about an upcoming trip to the west coast, Vegas to be exact and smiled to myself.  There’s no snow in Vegas - ever!  While I’m in the desert, I’m thinking about taking a few days and going to L.A. or either Palm Springs.  These photos were taken in Palm Springs on a previous trip.  It’s sunny!  No snow!
