It's been raining here so there's no news to report on the pool re-do. But, knowing the pool dudes will get that liner in sooner or later has me continuing to think about what to do the rest of the empty courtyard space...Large classical urns could be in the future!
You always have the best images. When I finish my house, I'd like to rip out the gardens and do just some boxwood, pea gravel and some massive urns. You can't go wrong.
ReplyDeleteLarge stone urns overflowing with trailing, flowering plants would be about right. Haddonstone made some good reconstituted-stone urns - better than the cement ones lurking in most garden centers.
ReplyDeleteyou have some great sources in your region; elegant earth in birmingham and flat earth in atlanta, then again london estate sales are divine

ReplyDeletei have seen people on craigslist selling good ones for a lot less. and they are often appropriately aged.
